Massage
is manipulation of the soft tissues of the body with the
hands, and is commonly used to relax muscle spasm, relieve
stress and tension and hasten elimination of wastes. It
also stretches connective tissue, improves circulation,
reduces oedema where present and prevents adhesions in tissues
after injury. There are various forms of massage, of which
Aromatherapy, Deep Tissue, Swedish, Thai, Therapeutic, Hot
Stone, Reflexology and Indian Head are available at Balance.
